I may not be able to come see you or give you a hug, but I can give you this project. It’s a hand to hold, a day at the beach, drinks in the park on a summer evening, that thing I wish I could show you and tell you a story about. It’s a series of the things I miss sharing with you.

Love Letters

This home of mine is mimicked in me. In the ways the rolling hills mimic the curves my mom gave me, how the intricate, curious, and ever changing colors of the sea are reflected in my eyes. Even the golden brown of the hills are like my hair, the shadows found in my brown and the bright spots colored by the sun. The following images are a record of this discovery, of finding my way back to this place and seeing it as mine. It is a series of love letters that cherish this place, the way it has shaped me, and its place in my life.
